The ESCCA 2019 Conference will be held in Bergen, Norway, from Wednesday 18 - Saturday 21 September 2019.

The Conference will kick off on Wednesday afternoon with a Plenary session on New Developments in Cytometry, followed by a Welcome Reception hosted by the Municipality of Bergen in the stunning HÃ¥konshalle in the city centre! In the morning of that same day, 4 pre-conference training courses are scheduled (limited attendance), and a session for First-timers for those who are new to ESCCA or attend the Conference for the first time. Members will also have the opportunity to take the ESCCA European Cytometry Certification Examination.

Call for Abstracts

The Scientific Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts for original research papers for presentation as an oral communication or a poster. New is the possibility to present a poster orally in one of the parallel sessions as a short Poster Flash Presentation.

Call for Registration

Register before 4 August to benefit from the early registration fees. Places for the pre-conference training courses as well as for the above mentioned Welcome Reception are limited and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Click here to access the Registration page.

Venue & hotel accommodation

The Conference will be held in the Quality Hotel â„¢ Edvard Grieg, located some 8 minutes' drive from the airport. On the arrival and departure day a shuttle service between the airport and the hotel will be arranged. During the Conference a bus transfer to and from Bergen city centre will be available in the afternoon after the last session.

Guest rooms are available in the Edvard Grieg hotel and, in case the hotel is fully booked, in their partner hotel, the Comfort Bergen Airport Hotel. A shuttle will be provided between these two hotels during the Conference.

ESCCA has negotiated reduced rates including the above mentioned bus tranfers. Please note that the transfers are only available for delegates who have reserved via the dedicated ESCCA reservation form on the Housing page. Make sure to reserve your room before 24 June. Reservations for the Edvard Grieg hotel will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis. Should the hotel be fully booked, the room will be automatically booked in the Comfort Hotel.
