Advanced Practical Cell Sorting Workshop (Madrid, Feb 7-9)

Visit the website

Once again the Spanish National Cancer Research Center (CNIO) will be hosting a short course on Cell Sorting in sunny Madrid on the 7th, 8th and 9th of February.

It is targeted to both operators and experienced scientists that perform cell sorting and wish to learn more on how instruments work and how to set up and monitor them to ensure optimal results. In this two & half-day course you’ll be able to learn with some internationally recognised cell sorting experts about fundamental concepts in high-speed cell sorting, how to setup a sorter, monitor, troubleshoot and evaluate the performance of your instrument and cell sorting experiment.

The two & half days will be split into a few lectures to go through concepts in an interactive/open discussion way and mainly practical hands-on sessions in front of the instruments, where you’ll be able to actually setup a droplet high-speed cell sorter to sort real samples. Due to the practical nature of this course, only up to 10 participants will be accepted for this 2019 edition.

Members of the Iberian Cytometry Society (SIC) will benefit from a discounted price for the course, so hurry up and don’t miss this great opportunity to learn more about cell sorting.

We look forward to seeing you in February at this course.

Kind Regards,
