Introduction

The purpose of DSFCM is to unite the Danish researchers who are particularly interested in flow cytometry, to facilitate the communication, stimulate the research, and promote the exchange of ideas and results amongst members.

Danish researchers as well as others with interest in flow cytometry can join DSFCM. Corporate members do not have voting rights.

The Danish Society for Flow Cytometry (DSFCM) was founded in 1988. The first general assembly took place at the County Hospital of Aarhus on May 5, 1988, by the initiative of Jørgen Ellegaard, Peter Hokland, Jørgen Schøler Kristensen, and Jørgen K. Larsen. The homepage www.flowcytometri.dk was launched at the 18th meeting on May 25, 1998.

DSFCM has 114 members, including 16 corporate members.

DSFCM is associated to the Danish Medical Society and the International Society for Analytical Cytology (ISAC), and is collaborating closely with other scientific societies in related fields of interest.

Introduktion

Selskabets formål er at samle danske forskere med speciel interesse i flowcytometri, fremme kommunikationen, stimulere forskningen samt øge udvekslingen af ideer og resultater mellem medlemmerne.

Som medlemmer kan optages danske forskere og andre med interesse for flowcytometri. Ligeledes kan firmaer optages, dog uden stemmeret.

Dansk Selskab for Flowcytometri (DSFCM) blev oprettet i 1988. Den stiftende generalforsamling fandt sted på Århus Amtssygehus den 5. maj 1988 på initiativ af Jørgen Ellegaard, Peter Hokland, Jørgen Schøler Kristensen, and Jørgen K. Larsen. Hjemmesiden www.flowcytometri.dk blev startet på det 18. møde den 25. maj 1998.

DSFCM har 114 medlemmer, heraf 16 firmamedlemmer.

Selskabet er tilknyttet Dansk Medicinsk Selskab og International Society for Analytical Cytology (ISAC) og arbejder i nær forbindelse med andre videnskabelige selskaber med nærliggende interesser.
