Robert Salomon - Lab Manager & Senior Flow Cytometry Scientist

Robert Salomon is an experienced Flow Cytometrist with biological and engineering skills with expertise in high end instrumentation (including world's first 10 laser sorting and analysis instrumentation). After Studying at Murdoch University and the University of Sydney, Robert graduated with a BSc (Hons 1) and a Masters by research with the Thesis entitled “Molecular Profiling of human prostate Cancer”.

Robert initially learnt his Flow Cytometry while doing research in the Endocrinology labs at the Blackburn building (USYD), however it wasn’t until he joined the Centenary Institute under Dr Adrian Smith of the Advanced Cytometry Facility that he began to specialise. During his time at the Centenary, Robert  was involved in the purchase, installation and implementation of the world’s first 10 laser cell Flow Cytometry analyser and cell sorter.
